This body of work materialized through an organic and temporal process. Rubber, which had naturally oxidized within our studio over the course of four years, became the field of this exploration.
These vessels formally reference the industrial grain silos scattered across farmlands. The material is both a time stamp of creation as well as a nod to its continuity. Their effect is thus an homage to the cycle of birth and decay present in all things.
